4 to 5 films will be projected on each day of the Festival. Some of them are famous and well known works, others less known but of a great artistic merit. Every screening will be preceded by a meeting with the authors of the presented work and guests of honour of the Festival. They will talk about the circumstances in which the screenplays of individual films were created, will answer questions, and take part in short debates on a chosen subject. The Festival will be divided in 4 thematic zones: Czech Republic, the Visegrad Group, Germany, and Europe.

The screenings take place in the historic auditorium of the Wytwórnia Filmów Fabularnych. The unique atmosphere of this place and the use of a traditional film projector with its distinctive sounds and producing non-contemporary visual effects, literally transports the audience in time. No other cinema auditorium offers such a climate that sets apart the Interscenario Festival from many others organized nowadays in Poland. Moreover, everyone can taste this delicious combination of sound, image, and scent of history as the entry to all screenings is free.
