Like previous years, the film screenings and professional scriptwriting workshops will be complemented by a specially designed music scene. As always our DJ’s and performers will conjure up, especially for the participants of the Festival, a stimulating world of music, word, light, and colour.

The Great Auditorium of the WFF where the concerts take place, traditionally serves as a sound stage, which lends it a very particular ambience. The characteristic architecture, the technology employed there, the lofty vault, the overwhelming spatial sense suffused with the distinctive scent of cinematic history – all of these factors are subliminally conducive to the discussion of cinema. Locating the events in such a space open to the public allows everyone, even the absolute novice, to taste the atmosphere particular to film production, and discern the echoes of generations of masters who created here their great works of cinematic art.

The final twists in the plot of this year’s festival are under wraps. We’re as yet unable to announce exactly who will enrich the already overflowing programme of the Festival with their presence.
